Any questions?

Help is at hand!

What do I do with my teenager?

Bring them along! Forest Row Festival is all about family fun, so we would love to welcome your teens, tots and toddlers! Children under 13 are free, and those aged 13-17 can visit with a children's ticket - however, they must be accompanied by an adult (over 21) at all times. Each adult can accompany up to two children, and neither party can enter or leave the site without each other - full ts & cs available here.

Can I bring my own booze?

No, you cannot bring alcohol on to the festival site, and any attempts ill be thwarted by our security team at the door (they're pretty canny, and wise to even the sneakiest ways of hiding it)! The Hop Yard team will be providing plenty of alcoholic refreshments, and you can bring in (sealed) soft drinks. A Challenge25 policy is in operation across the whole festival site.

Is there going to be somewhere I can charge my phone?

Sadly, we are unable to provide charging points. Pesky fields... 😉

I've lost my shoe. Please help?

Don't panic, Cinderella, we've got your back. All lost property will be collected at the end of every day, and held safe by our stewards in the entrance tent. Should anyone hand in your lost shoe in the meantime, we will whisk it to the entrance, so you can be reunited. Phew. After two weeks of keeping your bits and bobs safe, we donated any unclaimed items to Second Life (if appropriate!) or dispose of them, so make sure to come back!

How can I volunteer for next year!

Ahhh, we thought you'd never ask! ❤️ We'd love more volunteers from our lovely community, this is a big job, and the more the merrier, we say! Drop us a line, and we can have a chat.

I've dropped my churro. How do I complain?

If you have any issues with any of the food or drink purchased at the festival, you should speak directly to the vendors. However, dropping your churro because you're too busy bopping along to the music isn't really a valid complaint... buckle up and buy yourself a fresh one (they're totally worth it)!

Are tickets available on the door?

Strictly speaking, yes... but only via QR code (our team will be on hand to help). We're keeping everything digital this year so that we can manage our numbers, so to avoid disappointment, we recommend buying your ticket here (right now!), rather than turning up and hoping for the best!

What are the dates for next year?

Oooh, we love your keenness! The 2027 festival will take place on Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June. If you would like to get involved in any way (vendor, stallholder, musician, volunteer), grab one of the team and we'll take your details!

Is there any parking?

There is no official festival parking, but Forest Row is blessed with a number of car parks, all handily located right on top of the venue! Please do not park on Upper Close, or down Station Road, as doing so obstructs emergency service vehicles.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely - four legged friends are more than welcome, as long as they're well behaved, and stay on a lead please. We also ask that they leave the site by 5pm.

Will I need ID?

We operate a Challenge 25 policy at the entrance, and at the bar. If you are lucky enough to look under 25, please be prepared to show your ID. Only Photo ID with date of birth will be accepted (driving licence, passport or other similar). If you are accompanying under 18s you will be required to be over 21.

Yep. We will scan you in and out (so we can keep track of numbers). If you have children with you, they will need to leave with you - your party must all be on the site at the same time, this is a legality on our site licence. To make this process as smooth as possible, visitors accompanying children will have a different wristband to those without.

Afraid not, everyone must collect their own. However, if you have booked for adults and given their contact details on your booking, they will each have been sent their own QR code and can pick up independently. Under 18 bands can only be collected when booking in with their accompanying adult.

When can we collect wristbands?

Anytime during opening hours, and also on Friday 19th from 12pm - as long as you come in person! The Friday before we open is a great time to do it if you're looking to beat the queues, and don't worry, our wristbands are designed to last for at least the full three days, so it'll still be in place by Sunday!

Can I collect wristbands for other people?

Can I leave site and come back as long as I have my wristband?
